Nyasa Big Bullets and Silver Strikers are expected to meet in a friendly match scheduled for Bingu National Stadium on December 30.
The match is part of the National Advocacy campaign by Plan International Malawi.
Plan Programs Area Manager for Mulanje projects, Dan Kapatuka, confirmed the match.
“We have two projects running with the help of the Norwegian Government. These projects include ending child marriages and sending children, including the marginalised ones, back to school.
“The projects are run in the districts of Karonga, Mulanje and Chikwawa. Therefore, we decided to take it the national level and involve the two teams in the campaign,” Kapatuka said, adding that they would give the teams special project-branded jerseys.
Silver and Bullets general secretaries, Thabo Chakaka- Nyirenda and Albert Chigoga, confirmed the friendly game.
“We were really approached on the matter, and as Silver we are ready for the match,” Nyirenda said.
The giants will renew their TNM Super League rivalry as Bullets has never beaten Silver this season.
