POSITIVE STEP — D’ELB

Youthful musician Med Cee, real name Medson Kapeni, has changed his stage name to Med C.

His management company – Magic Fingers Entertainment—says in a press statement that the move is in their effort to stop the proliferation of unverified social media pages that are bearing Made Cee’s name.

“We have resolved to rebrand our artiste with a new name Med C. His new official Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts will be Med C Music,” the statement reads.

Magic Fingers Entertainment says in a press statement that this is the first rollout plan for Med C.

The outfit’s director Tiwonge Mhango also announced that the release of ‘Uvinanso’ will be followed by a special release of ‘Complaining’ music video, which was directed by Vinny Visuals with its audio redone by Shizzi.

In May this year, Magic Fingers Entertainment announced their sealing of a two-year deal worth K10 million with the budding artist.

The deal will be made in two split payments of K1 million upfront in cash to the artist and the rest would go towards his educational needs and music.

The deal package also comprises two fully produced Extended Playlists (EPs) and four fully produced music videos.

Magic Fingers Entertainment also announced in May this year that they were already working with four African leading producers – Shizzi, D’elb, Kidominant, Mando Hill and Wale Kwame.
