Carlsberg Malawi has unveiled winners of its Kuphweketsa promotion. The compet i t ion was launched in March.
Senior Brands Manager for Non-Alcoholic Beverages at Carlsberg Malawi Twikale Chirwa said one lucky winner will get a fully sponsored party.
“As Carlsberg, we aim to delight our customers while also driving and exciting the market. As such, we launched a promotion based on consumer research and one thing that consumers have been telling us is that they want Carlsberg to support functions and their house parties,” Chirwa said.
The grand price is a house party and various prizes such as cash, TV sets, smart phones and Carlsberg branded regalia.
People entered by buying and opening five bottles of Carlsberg beer. Carlsberg has already sponsored six parties in Zomba, Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
“This is basically Carlsberg bringing fun to your favourite spot, bar or house. The winners get to choose the location and Carlsberg will bring the music, f ood and beer.” Chirwa added.
Chirwa further said that Carlsberg will continue to work towards giving its customers what they ask for as a way of maintaining the relationship.
