Castel Market Category Manager, Twikale Chirwa, said their management was excited with the success of the competition, on and off the pitch.
“There is a huge likelihood that we will return next year. The whole Castel Malawi management, including the Managing Director, Gilles Leclerc, are impressed with how supporters conducted themselves.
“Above all, the teams performed well. It was a competition full of surprises. As such, management will review the competition and the package so that we should return bigger and better,” Chirwa said.
The sponsorship has been at K40 million since 2014 and champions pocket K12 million with the runners-up earning K5 million.
