Continental Discount House (CDH) Investment Bank in partnership with Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources has planted 6,000 trees valued at K3.5 million at Chisinga Community Day Secondary School in Lilongwe.
CDH Chief Treasury Officer Zondwayo Mafuleka urged community members at Chisenga to take the responsibility of caring for the newly planted trees.

Mafuleka said the country can be spared from the effects of climate change if more people plant and take care of trees.
“We want to be the leaders in the corporate world to help the communities replace the trees we cut down,” Mafuleka said.
Luanar Deputy Director Joseph Dzanja commended the bank for the initiative.
