Chanco Got Talent enters semi final
The Chanco Got Talent Show which is spearheaded by Lens Arts in partnership with Times Group has now reached the semi finals.
The semi final is on tonight at the Great Hall in Zomba where contestants are expected to battle it out to make it to the grand finale.
The show which aims at exposing different talents started with auditions before premiering two weeks ago.
The red carper event saw five contestants being evicted during the premiere with 15 contestants now remaining.
Hosted by among others Times Television presenter Sharon Chirwa, the grand finale is expected to be held on August 22.
According to one of the organisers Naphtali Chilenga K500,000 in prizes are expected to be won.
Some of the contestants who were nominated and face eviction this time around include Cecelia Gondwe, Lisa Chikoja, Kitson Namathanga, Nancy Kamwaza, Lozindaba Mbvundula, Chanco Travelling Theatre, Omega Sambakunsi, Madock Masina and Samuel Joseph.
And those who impressed the judges which included Times Television presenters of Sam Kabambe and Mr 265 include and were safe include dancers Martin Banda, Motion of Movement and singer Bertha Kadeka.
