Chicken Inn has replaced fellow Zimbabwe Premier League side Dynamos FC in the Nyasa International Bonanza slated for February 28 to March 1.
This will be the second time for Chicken Inn to take part in the tournament after their participation in the inaugural event last year.
Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Administrator Officer, Albert Chigoga, said they approached Chicken Inn to replace Dynamos who did not confirm their participation.
Chigoga said they will continue to link up with Dynamos in other areas as they are also part of the Nyasa family through the Rolland and George sponsorship.
“I would like to inform all Malawians that as it stands we have Chicken Inn of Zimbabwe and Songo of Mozambique who have confirmed their availability. So we are working on logistics and we would like to assure Malawians that this year’s tournament will be one of the best,” Chigoga said.
This means Chicken Inn will join hosts Nyasa Big Bullets, Be Forward Wanderers and Mozambique’s UD Songo in fighting for glory at the bonanza.
Ferroviario de Nampula of Mozambique emerged champions of the pre-season competition last year after collecting four points from three games.
