Chikwawa fishmonger wins motorbike in Chibuku promo
Chibuku Products Limited has promised its customers that they should expect more exciting promotions and better service delivery this year.
The company’s Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager, Villant Jana, made the assurance on Thursday during the presentation of a motorbike in the K12 million Mwai wa Nzama promotion.
During the promotion, lucky Chibuku Super customers redeemed prizes including bags of fertilisers and bicycles of their winning tokens inserted in the drinks.
A fishmonger at Dyeratu Trading Centre in Nsanje, Mussa Singano, won the grand prize of a motorbike.
Singano, who was all smiles while receiving the bike at Chibuku Head Offices, said the prize will boost business as it has solved his mobility challenges.
“This motorbike will ease transportation problem which I faced when doing my fish business. I, therefore, request for more promotions to encourage more participation and increase consumption of the drink,” appealed Singano.
Jana, who said there is more in stock to excite customers this year, said CPL is happy with the outcome of the promotion.
“Out of the targeted 189 winners that we were expecting, but at least as of today [Thursday] 176 people have won and we expect more. It [promotion] has done a great job by increasing consumption of the drink in January as compared to other years and we anticipate the growth to continue,” said Jana.
She then pledged customers that they should expect more exciting things coming from April this year.
“We do hope our customers will still be with us enjoying our opaque beer and other brands. We’ll expand these promotions to other portfolios and we hope to serve you better just like we have done before,” she pledged.
The one-month promotion started on December 21 last year and ended on January 21.
