Chitipa United spy on Big Bullets
Chitipa United Assistant Coach, Robert Mzinza, spied on Nyasa Big Bullets when they hosted Red Lions at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday.
Mzinza watched the game ahead of their meeting against Bullets at Mzuzu Stadium this Saturday.
During the game, Bullets came from behind to hold Lions to a one-all draw, courtesy of new recruit from Nsanama FC, Davie Banda’s late header.
Chitipa General Secretary, Marshall Mwenechanya, confirmed Mzinza’s trip to Blantyre over the weekend.
“We used Mzinza’s trip to Blantyre for a number of things. Apart from watching the game, we also sent him to process the registration of players and other things with the Football Association of Malawi,” Mwenechanya said.
Chitipa earned Super League promotion after emerging champions of the Simama Premier Division in their debut appearance.
Despite not recruiting big name players, Chitipa are banking on their Coach, Kondwani Mwalweni, who managed to beat Bullets 1-0 at Mzuzu Stadium last season while in charge of relegated Karonga United.
