Chiukepo Msowoya eyeing a short-term Big Bullets deal
TNM Super League Player of- the year 2015, Chiukepo Msowoya, has rejoined Nyasa Big Bullets after returning from South Africa where he failed to clinch an instant deal with Premier League side, Bloemfontein Celtic.
Bullets’ technical director, Billy Tewesa, said the former Orlando pirates star will not go anywhere, trashing reports that he is joining arch rivals, Be Forward Wanderers.
Tewesa said Msowoya will sign a short-term contract with the TNM Super League champions while awaiting a return to South Africa in June for a pre -training season with Celtic.
The 2015 TNM Super League joint-top goal scorer was spotted during the People’s Team training session on Tuesday in Blantyre.
According to Tewesa, the former Escom United hit man’s presence during his first training this year has boosted morale in camp.
“I had a meeting with him, asking him what the next stage is during the four months he will be in the country. He says he is ready to play for us before going back to South Africa. I believe playing for this club can help him to keep his form. I am very optimistic that our bosses will see the best way of sorting him out his concerns the contract,” Tewesa said.
Bullets will play an international friendly match against Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier League side, Dynamos FC, next month.
