Coach Ramadhan returns next week
NYASA Big Bullets Coach, Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan, is expected back from suspension after the TNM Super League match against Silver Strikers on Sunday, the People’s Team General Secretary, Albert Chigoga, has confirmed.
“Ramadhan is safe. After four games, the last one being on Sunday against Silver, he will return to action. As a club, we will recall him but it will be at his discretion to return or not, but his job is safe for now,” Chigoga said.
Ramadhan, who was suspended for four games due to the team’s struggles, was not available for a comment as we went to press yesterday.
In Ramadhan’s absence, assistant Coach, Elia Kananji, is in charge of the team, working alongside Goalkeeper Trainer, Swadick Sanudi, and Team Manager, James Chilapondwa.
However, Kananji does not possess the required minimum qualification (Caf B-Licence) for him to manage in the Super League as per Club Licensing System requirements.
Kananji holds a Caf C Licence. Bullets have 15 points from nine games while lying on position five on the 16-member log table, having won four games, drawn thrice and lost twice.
