Coach talks about Gabadinho Mhango’s weaknesses
Flames’ wonderkid, Gabadinho Mhango, continues earning praises of his coach at South African Premier Soccer League side, Bidvest Wits.
However, while praising the former Nyasa Big Bullets striker, Coach Gavin Hunt, was also quick to point out Gabadinho’s weaknesses.
The Flames’ player is in his first season at Wits, who are affectionately called the Clever Boys.
“He will drive me crazy that lad‚” Hunt told timeslive.co.za
Hunt added that the still-raw 24-year-old needs polishing in order to be more efficient at scoring.
“We need to improve his play without the ball. And I am trying to do that in various positions. He needs a lot of work. Training ground work,” the coach noted.
Mhango is one of Hunt’s recent signings and the Malawi striker has brought a notable spark to Wits’ frontline in the absence of the injured Phakamani Mahlambi and James Keene.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic forward has scored three goals in all competitions‚ though his pace and bustling skill have set up plenty more.
