Code Sangala to perform in USA

Musician and former Big Brother Africa (BBA) representative Code Sangala is expected to perform in the United States of America (USA) next month.
The show according to him, was an extension of the Music against Malaria Festival which was held at College of Medicine Complex in Blantyre last month and that it was aimed at raising funds to go to Chikwawa District Hospital.
The poster of the show in USA indicates that it would be a Night of Cultural Music and Comedy and that it was being spearheaded by New England Malawi Association in partnership with Music against Malaria.
“As an artist, I always want to explore and reach out to new audiences and so I am happy that this show has come up. It is also important in that we are raising funds to go towards supporting Chikwawa District Hospital,” Code said.
The artist, who recently dropped his new album, Mizu, which is selling on different online platforms, said before the USA concert, he will also perform in Netherlands on December 1 2019.
“The show in the Netherlands has come through because of a mixture of family visit and tour. It is good that some people in the Diaspora have come up to support the Music against Malaria cause where we are using music to fight malaria,” Code said.
The host of the Sounds of Malaria Acoustic session, which he is set to miss since he will be away, will share the stage with Ian Phiri in the USA show.
