Colony Club Casino to offer more entertainment

Colony Club Casino, which is one of the longest casinos in the country, has said it will continue to be creative and give people more entertainment.

The casino’s slots manager Saul Zgambo said this on Thursday during its 20th anniversary celebration at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre.

The celebration saw the presence of several people including artists, with Soldier Lucius Banda entertaining people with music backed by Mapale Band featuring, among others, veteran players Peter Likhomo and Collen Ali.

“It has been a long journey of offering entertainment and we will continue. We are thankful to our clients for the support. We are also grateful to Soldier Lucius Banda, all artists and Team Entertainers for the support tonight,” Zgambo said.

On the night, Lucius, who did not offer much in terms of dance as he had undergone dialysis, performed both old and new songs and they included ‘Bisa’ from his 20th album Love and Hate which he released recently.

“I am happy to support Colony Club Casino tonight. I was supposed to travel to South Africa early but I delayed because I want to be part of this anniversary which resonates well with my 20th album,” Lucius said.

Miss Malawi Jescar Mponda, who was with her first and second princesses, congratulated Colony Club Casino for the 20th anniversary.

“I have enjoyed every moment and it is good that they invited different clients and artists. The platform has also accorded us a chance to interact with other players,” Mponda said.

Miss Culture Memory Sanjira was part of the anniversary as well as musicians Phyzix, Hyphen, Sangie, Blak Jak and veteran producer Tapps Bandawe.
