First things first; Merry Christmas to all the followers of this column. Christmas is the perfect time to give. Doesn’t the Bible say that it is more blessed to give than to receive?

We live in a mobile phone-centric world.

Phones are as important as the oxygen we breathe. Because God gave His only beloved son, Christmas is about beautiful gifts. Here are a few examples of fantastic smartphones befitting beautiful Christmas gifts.

Samsung Galaxy S6 is a dazzling phone and reminds anybody who cares to know that Samsung still matters in the smartphone industry. The Phone has rear superb 16 MP and 5MP front cameras. The audio and video quality is out of this world.

The QHD display crammed into a mere 5.1-inch screen is currently the sharpest on the market. The downside is that it sucks down the battery a lot. Galaxy S6’s finish is a marvel and a beauty to behold. The TouchWiz feels astonishingly natural.

If you are the sort of person who wants to add bells and whistles, you can go a notch further by choosing Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It has lots of aesthetics that do nothing to add to functionality but all the same, differentiate you from the crowd.

The luxury leather back is the first quality that allures you to the beautiful LG G4 phone. One techie writer, Gareth Beaves says that this leather back makes the LG G4 phone stand out amongst the swath of glass and metal offerings.

LG G4 has bulky and unrestrained screen. The 16-MP laser auto-focus camera takes awe-inspiring shots. And life is just so good.

The three phones above are Android devices. They all have one thing in common; they are great devices with modest price tags.

iPhones are not cheap; but who said that Christmas gifts need to be inexpensive?

The new iPhone 6S is made in the image of iPhone 6; a huge and powerful phone with a great camera. The 3D Touch interface is truly amazing. The problem is that this makes the battery’s life shorter than that of iPhone 6. To go around this, you may have to top up and get the iPhone 6S Plus.

Perhaps Android is not appealing to you and the iPhone will end up digging deep holes into your pocket. Microsoft Lumia is an alternative. This is a Windows Phone 10. This phone is an extension of your Microsoft Windows experience. Microsoft Lumia has a plastic finish which makes it contemptible.

How much do these smartphones cost? You do not want to know! Once again, Merry Christmas to all esteemed followers of this column.
