Continental Outdoor Media has changed its name to JCDecaux following the acquisition of its interests by JCDecaux SA of Paris, France.

Founded more than 50 years ago and a pioneer in outdoor advertising in Africa, Continental Outdoor was acquired on June, 18, 2015 by JCDecaux SA in partnership with Royal Bafokeng Holdings with a shareholding split of 70 and 30 percent respectively.

The company has now completed its integration process having finalised all statutory requirements and will officially be known as JCDecaux in each of the countries it operates.
