Cook wins K1 million in Airtel promotion
Harry Banda, who works as a cook in Nkhatabay, became the first lucky winner to be awarded K1 million in the ongoing Airtel Tayaletayale promotion. Banda was over the moon when he received the money from Airtel at a ceremony that took place at Airtel offices in Lilongwe on Monday.
“I am so happy for emerging winner in this competition as my dream of building a house will now be fulfilled,” Banda said.
Airtel Money Marketing Manager, Tione Kafumbu, said Airtel is giving away the prizes to its customers as an appreciation for their commitment to do their transactions on Airtel Money.
“The competition is one way of saying thank you to our customers and next month we will again give away another one million kwacha as a way of giving back to our customers,” he said.
