Cool Drop flies Paul Chidale to Kenya

Zamm Investments, manufactures of Cool Drop Water, has supported Malawi’s highly rated professional golfer Paul Chidale to take part in the 2023 Safari Tour which starts today in Nairobi, Kenya.

The company has sponsored Chidale to the tune of K3.6 million catering for a return air ticket, accommodation, attire and appearance fee at the tournament, which is also a qualifier for the Kenya Open.

Chidale, speaking after receiving the sponsorship, hailed the company for the assistance.

“I am motivated and promise to do well during the competition. My target is to make the cut,” Chidale, who was expected to leave Sunday evening, said.

The Malawian will be in Kenya for 22 days competing in four tournaments.

Chidale, who finished on position 11 during the 2021 edition in Kenya, is the number one professional golfer in Malawi.

Zamm Investments General Manager Zacharia Nyirenda, said Cool Drop brand was proud to be associated with a winning brand.

“We have been in sports for many years and we are simply coming into golf. Paul is a popular golfer and we believe our support will motivate him to do well,” Nyirenda said.

Chidale has participated in a number of international tournaments since he turned professional including in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Zamm Investments are not new in sports as the company partnered Malawi Defence Force to sponsor Kamuzu Barracks last year.

The company also sponsors a weightlifting competition in Malawi
