Toyota Malawi on Friday launched in Mzuzu a K13.3 million new Corolla Quest which is both manual and automatic.
Toyota Malawi said Quest is an entry level car for beginners before they get to the 11th generation Corolla and other upcoming types.
“Continuing with the legacy and success of the 10th generation Corolla, the Corolla Quest comes as option of choice with the same quality, durability and reliability of the Toyota Corolla heritage at a price you can afford. The Corolla Quest comes in 1.6 litre engine with an option of manual or automatic transmission. The Corolla Quest is a vehicle that takes you all works of life from family, office, business and leisure,” said Toyota Malawi marketing manager Soustain Chigalu during the launch at the company’s premises.
Chigalu said the new vehicle has spacious interior; gives enjoyable driving performance; offers manual or automatic options; has good fuel efficiency and that the company gives free service up to 25,000 km and warranty up to 100 000 km or three years.
He said the vehicle is meant for families or individuals; the corporate world; government; Non-Governmental Organisations and small scale businesses.
In his presentation of the Corolla heritage and Quest overview, Toyota National sales manager Newton Mlagha said: “This is the beginning of good things for people of Mzuzu.”
