The forthcoming inter-company sports festival, dubbed Corporate Carnival has attracted support from some of the country’s prominent corporate brands.
Speaking ahead of the event slated for October 22 at Country Club Limbe in Blantyre, spokesperson Ausa Kamanga said she expects an exciting and memorable day.
“This will be a fantastic event for participating companies and their employees. It is a big networking opportunity. Already, we have big companies, that have registered, such as MRA, Macra, FDH Bank plc, Masm, Mubas, Finca, Flying Girls Malawi and many others that are yet to finalise their registration,” Kamanga said.
She said teams will compete in football, netball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, chess, bawo, athletics, darts and other games.
Kamanga said there will also be funfair games for adults and children.
“We will also have drinks and beverages, music and other activities designed to make it a great family festival as well. For companies, it is a great team-building exercise and an ideal networking opportunity for their employees.
“For businesses, it provides them with an audience for products and service promotions. For vendors, this is a ready market for selling their items. Registration is still open for companies to participate in the festival by contacting us via the Corporate Carnival Facebook page or visiting Inspire Marketing Group in Blantyre,” she said.
The festival is also focusing on fitness and health in the workplace and has made arrangements for aerobics, and BP and blood sugar checks at the venue.
