Cricket body establishes international rapport

Malawi Cricket Union (MCU) has enhanced its revival by establishing ties with high-profile international academies to help in developing the sport.
MCU President, Vivek Ganesen, said they have gone into partnerships with academies and organisations from countries such as Australia and South Africa.
“MCU has experts and professionals such as former Irish international player Andre Botha and former South African international player Jonty Rhodes, both of whom have played in eight World Cups combined, spending time with the best so the international partnerships would help us identify and nurture more talent in line with international standards,” Ganesen said.
“Over the last few years, MCU has built strategic partnerships with high-profile cricket organisations and academies around the world to help with the progressive evolution of cricket in Malawi.”
MCU has established ties with Perth Cricket Academy, Lord’s Taverners (both Australia), Lord’s Taverners (United Kingdom), The Cricket School of Excellence (Cape Town, South Africa), RelyOn Cricket Academy (Johannesburg, South Africa), Cricket Without Borders (Australia), Cricket Without Boundaries (UK) and Cricket South Africa.
