Nchalo United yesterday became the first team to be relegated from the TNM Super League after losing 3-1 to Dwangwa United at Kalulu Stadium at Nchalo in Chikwawa District.

Two more teams will join the fallen Lower Shire giants in bidding farewell to the top flight league as the season ends in December.

Nchalo cannot redeem themselves even if they win their remaining four games after just a season’s stay in the Super League having returned by virtue of winning the 2017 Southern Region Football Association League Premier Division championship.
