Daniel Kabwe’s Silver Strikers fate July 8

Suspended Silver Strikers coach Daniel Kabwe will know his fate on July 8, having been on suspension since May 31.
Silver Company Secretary Peter Masiye confirmed the development saying the team’s board will implement the resolutions which the committee that was investigating the club’s poor run in the league made.
“We have set next week as the potential day to release our findings and the next course of action. We must also say that, as of now, no one has lost his job at Silver.
“But we will fire those found in the wrong if the recommendation of the committee suggests so,” Masiye said.
Meanwhile, Silver Board Chairperson George Kaudza Masina has called on the team’s fans and the general public to exercise patience over the matter.
“We have finalised all the investigations on the matter and what is remaining is only the logistical part of it as we are also cautious with the labour laws related to the matter,” he said.
Sliver suspended Kabwe two days after the side lost 3-1 to league leaders and defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets.
Kabwe’s assistant was named interim coach McDonald Yobe.
In five games under Yobe, Silver lost to Blue Eagles 1-0, drew with Sable Farming 2-2 and Moyale 0-0, beat TN Stars 4-1 and Mafco 2-0.
