A Day Camp at the Museum is set to take place on May 14 at Chichiri Museum driven by Tiwale.
Tiwale Camp Coordinator Mphatso Chidothe said Thursday that Tiwale is a non-profit organisation which exists to empower youth and provide safe spaces for children to socialise in a supportive community, have fun and engage in activities.
“We started last year and we have, so far, conducted two camps,” Chidothe said.
She said the one-day camp is targeting five to 14-year olds.
“There will be several activities happening throughout the day and it is all about bringing children to have fun,” she said.
Chidothe said Tiwale is inter-denominational and that it is not attached to a church, hence open to all children.
Some of the activities that children will enjoy on May 14 include wheel barrow race, apple on a string, capture the flag and obstacle race.
