Sergeant Cassim Manda, a police officer at Dedza Police Station, has made strides in his musical career as he is now set to release his second album.
Manda said he is at an advanced stage with the second album which will be out end this year.
“I am looking at dropping promotional singles just to keep people attentive as they look forward to my full album,” he said.
Manda recently broke an eight-year silence in the music industry with the release of a new single ‘Levitiko 26’.
He said the new single has received great feedback.
“I have been receiving positive feedback since I dropped the song. This song talks about repentance and a lot of people are saying the message is rich,” Manda said.
The musician has since engaged an extra gear by going on a fundraising drive to raise funds to finalise the album.
He said he is working on a music video for the song.
Manda came into the limelight in 2009 after releasing the single ‘Mulungu ndi Mulungu’.
The song enjoyed massive airplay in some of the local radio stations in the country.
The artist debuted with Malamulo Khumi.
