Defy spoils IT specialist
An expert in Information Technology, Alinafe Mgwadira, has won kitchen ware worth K2.5 million in the Defy WinYour Dream Kitchen promotion.
Manager for Westgate Investments Agents for Defy appliances in Malawi, Yunus Pandor, said they organised the competition to show appreciation to their customers who buy Defy appliances.
“We also want to promote retailers in Malawi who buy from us. To enter the competition, one has to buy a Defy product like a cooker, fridge or washing machine and put the entry form in a box,” Pandor said.
Mgwadira was all smiles when he was taken to Loghro shop in Lilongwe on Monday for the presentation of the prize.
“I bought a Defy fridge at K360,000 and as I was going out, I saw a box and I threw my entry form into it. Little did I know that I will be the winner,” Mgwadira said.
