Musician Desert Eagle has admitted that the music market is tough and that over the years he has been doing music he has failed to make things work.
Despite the challenges in the market where he said it is no longer favourable to sell your music, Desert Eagle is still in the game.
The artist on Monday released a brand new song titled ‘Your Waist’ which is a blend of afro and dancehall.
“It has been a long journey for me where I have tried different genres of music to find my path, to me it is deeper than music, where I use my voice to empower the youths and as a voice of the people. It is only right to use my voice for the good of others, so I came up with the brighter days campaign that stands up for the rights of women and youths,” Desert Eagle said.
He said that the new video for his song ‘Your Waist’ has been premiered locally as well as internationally and that he has opened new doors in Kenya where he is set to collaborate with other artists there.
Desert Eagle currently has three albums to his credit namely Broken Silence, Barren Lands and Open Cage.
“The one I am working on now is Royalty,” he said.
The artist, who is also a producer described his new video as power packed and that it carries a powerful message and that through it he was re-enforcing his signature.
“It is actually both the video and the audio. I am excited about this project and I am sure I will get the support. I just want to call upon people to support the creative industry because there is so much talent out there. Up and coming artists are trying their best to offer new things,” he said.
