Blackmore Creatives continues its exploits of hosting different events in the country with the latest being the Distinguished Gentlemen held in Lilongwe.
The event apart from providing the much needed entertainment as well as exposing talent was also aimed at raising funds to keep girls in school through dignity kits.
Blackmore Creatives partnered several other organisations to host the event and they included Cross roads Hotel, UNAIDS, Design Printers Limited, MARS photography, Aqua Pure, Design Studio, Gems and Jewelry and Latitude 13.
This was a night which among others was filled with amazing fashion and saw Clemoh Sato, who won the best designer award at Fashion Edition Malawi (Fame) in 2011 dazzle with his amazing jackets.
There were also other exciting designs that people sampled during the event including one by Chimwemwe Mwenyemasi whose shoe collection displayed outstanding talent.
According to Blackmore Creatives, the night also consisted of whiskey fun and games and performances.
Gentlemen enjoyed whiskey trivia and tasting to showcase their knowledge of whiskeys.
And as men enjoyed their complimentary snacks and beverages, served to them by beautiful models in red, they were serenaded by Fortress, an upcoming Malawian artist.
They also got to show their generous and competitive side during an auction and raffle draw, all in the name of charity.
Blackmore Creatives Director Zilanie Nyundo, said they were satisfied with the way the Distinguished Gentlemen Evening went.
“Fame conceptualized a different fashion show this year because we have normally done fashion shows which are largely women`s wear. So instead of having another ladies night, we had a `He for She event`; where men enjoyed men`s wear in a whiskey and cigar ambiance while raising money for a good cause,” said Nyundo.
She said having successfully held the event recently, they will be back with Distinguished Gentlemen next month by popular demand.
Nyundo said the event will take place on December 4, 2015 at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
“The blue blood event is thrilled to invite high profile men of substance to another instalment, this time the event is themed ‘The Scottish Connection’,’ she said.
According to Nyundo, during the event, gentlemen will enjoy another night of cigar sampling, whiskey appreciation, men`s wear fashion showcase, refreshments, social networking and many more exciting activities with a Scottish flare.
She said just like the first outing, the event is aimed at giving back to two social responsibility causes which include raising funds for dignity kits for girls in schools.
“Every month thousands of girls are unable to attend school for three to five days because they do not have adequate sanitary supplies,” she said.
