DJ Ganyani to perform at Chill White Party

After successfully hosting the Chill White Party in Blantyre early this year which featured South Africa’s DJ Sbu, Carlsberg Malawi hosts another Chill White Party in Lilongwe in December.

This time around it is DJ Ganyani from South Africa gracing the event and the DJ has since confirmed of his coming to Malawi in a video.

Carlsberg Malawi Senior Brands Manager (Alcoholic Beverages) Twikale Chirwa also confirmed that DJ Ganyani will headline the Chill White Party to be held at the Cockpit, Golden Peacock Hotel on December 9.

Just like it was in Blantyre, the dress code for the event is strictly white.

According to the poster, the entry fee for the party is K10,000 or buying five bottles of Carlsberg Chill.

Born Fredericks Tshabalala, the DJ has been in the music industry for over 20 years.

With his great passion for music, at the age of 15 he started teaching himself several DJ techniques to manipulate the prerecorded music.

Today he is a professional DJ who masters the technique of using harmonic mixing for choosing compatible songs.

Ganyani is a household name amongst the youth in South Africa and other Southern Africa Development Community (Sadc) region particularly Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana.

A founder and chief executive officer of Ganyani Entertainment, the DJ has mentored and inspired several DJs and was nominated in the 2006 Metro fm awards in the category Best Club DJ.
