Don Moen here for Love Malawi Festival

Renowned American singer and songwriter of Christian worship music Donald James Moen arrived in the country on Wednesday through Chileka International Airport in Blantyre ahead of his performance at Love Malawi Festival’s second edition.
The festival starts today through to Sunday at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KuHeS) Complex in Blantyre.
Moen famed for hits like ‘Our Father’ and ‘God Will Make A Way’, who also performed at the festival in 2016 in Lilongwe will share the stage with several other artists including Faith Mussa, Skeffa Chimoto, Shammah Vocals and Kamuzu Barracks.
Love Malawi Festival which promises a lot including preaching and sports, is organised by a grouping of inter-faith church leaders in conjunction with United States-based evangelist Andrew Palau.
Palau said recently he was delighted to be back in Malawi as this is the second time for the festival to happen in the country.
He said the motive of the festival is to express the love of Jesus to all who would listen and accept to transform their lives for Christ.
“I am happy to be back in Malawi. The first time we were in Malawi before my father went to be with the lord he was excited to hear about our return to Malawi particularly in Blantyre,” he said.
Reverend Grey Mwalabu coordinator of the festival called upon Malawians to grace the festival pledging not only fun but life changing experience.
He also said they were happy to have Don Moen alongside other artists.
