Doors start opening for Daliso Chaponda

After his impressive outing in Britain’s Got Talent, where he came third, the country’s United Kingdom (UK)- based comedian Daliso Chaponda has started attracting potential agencies to work with.

The stand-up comedian, son to former Cabinet minister George Chaponda, has since been signed by CKP Productions and Road Global.

According to Daliso, CKP Productions and Roar Global are one of the biggest agencies in the UK.

Daliso posted the information on his Facebook page Tuesday.

He said yesterday he was excited to be signed by CKP Productions and Roar Global.

“They represent Micky Flanagan, one of UK’s top five comedians, Past America’s Got Talent winner Paul Zerdin and many others. They are the perfect agency to guide my career through it’s next stage,” he said.

Daliso said he was looking forward to more opportunities.

CKP Productions and Roar Global have since posted Daliso’s biography on their page, speaking volumes of his exploits as a stand-up comedian including his starring in the Britain’s Got Talent.

The comedian who was tipped to win Britain’s Got Talent said he was happy to sign up with an agency that had the ability to book him tours.

“This is one of top UK agencies with ability to book me tours and TV appearances and more other things,” he said.

On his participation in Britain’s Got Talent, which was won by pianist Tokio Myers during last Saturday’s live final, Daliso said he had fun.

“It was a brilliant experience. It was exciting, stressful, fun, terrifying and so many more things,” he said.

Daliso also said he has so many offers and possibilities he is fielding right now.

He also hinted that a Malawian show is a priority for him.

“A Malawian return is a priority; it’s just a matter of timing, schedules etc. Malawians must join my website africancomedian. com if they want updates, free jokes every week and all sorts of new features I will be introducing,” he said.

Daliso has starred in several comedy platforms including the Laugh Festival Africa, Nite of 1,000 Laughs and Comedy Central Africa.

The comedian once made to the list of Top 10 comedians in Africa.
