Dwangwa United target one win
Dwangwa United are targeting one more win in the TNM Super League to be sure of survival from relegation, Team Manager, Davie Mwandira, has said.
“On paper, we are safe [from relegation], but we have to win, at least, a game to guarantee ourselves a place in next year’s Super League.
“If [Premier Bet] Wizards win their remaining three games and we lose ours, we can be overtaken on the log table. But we are certain of remaining in the league,” Mwandira said.
Dwangwa are on 12th place on the log table with 31 points from 26 games, following their 2-0 win over Mafco FC at Chitowe Ground on Saturday.
Jack Chiona scored both goals for Dwangwa.
Wizards are on 14th place with 23 points from 27 games, followed by Blantyre United and Chitipa United on 15th and 16th positions, with 21 and 16 points, respectively
