Edgar ndi Davis comes down to Blue Elephant
Edgar ndi Davis Band will Saturday perform at Blue Elephant in Blantyre sharing the stage with among others veteran Giddes Chalamanda and Times TV’s Ka Jive dance competition runners up Floor Steppers.
“It’s been sometime since we held a show at Blue Elephant and so we are ready for the showdown and all we are saying is that people should come in large numbers,” said one of the Edgar ndi Davis’ members, Davis Njobvu.
He said having been voted the Best Neo Traditional group during the Music Malawi (Muma) Awards, they want to use the show to thank their fans for the support.
“We are Edgar ndi Davis Band because of the support we get from people. Without their support there would not be Edgar ndi Davis Band,” said Njobvu.
The show will also feature another artist McDonald Chibwe.
“We have always said during our previous shows that this year we are taking a new direction and so we want to make sure that we have new faces on board. This is why we have McDonald Chibwe. Again we have a dancing group which has shown potential, the Floor Steppers,” said Njobvu.
