Former Zembani Band dancer and musician Emma Masauko, is ready with a new music video for the track ‘Ndikhale Naye’.
This is a song off Masauko’s third album Thy Kingdom Come.
The musician currently based in United Kingdom released the first music video from the album titled ‘Mukwezeke’.
She said Monday that the song ‘Ndikhale Naye’ was about praising God for taking her through the challenges in her life.
It’s been a long journey full of ups and downs but God has been faithful. To be alive today is all about God’s grace, I have had to go through challenges since I lost my parents. I lost my mother when I was 13 years, I had to take care of my two siblings,” Masauko said.
“This song blesses me and I believe it will also do the same to others. In good or bad times, let us say thank you and most importantly for the gift of life,” Masauko said.
The musician released the 10-track third album after a long break.
She started with Musamusiye album which she released with the support from Soldier Lucius Banda and Zembani Band.
Masauko then independently released her second album Zaonjeza before she later moved to United Kingdom.
“Due to busy schedules here, it has always been a challenge to get back to producing songs even though I have been composing and writing songs,” she said.
Masauko said the third album consists of songs of praise and thanksgiving.
The other songs in the album include ‘Leka Kulira’, ‘ Atate Athu’, ‘Nditetezeni’, ‘Mayi Muli Kuti’, and ‘Never Let Me Go’.
