Nyasa Big Bullets have partnered Energem Petroleum Limited for a three-day international bonanza slated to start on February 28.
Energem have pumped in K5 million to acquire naming rights for the bonanza which will end on March 1. Following the partnership, the bonanza will be called Energem International Bonanza.
Speaking during the signing ceremony at Bullets club house in Blantyre Monday, Energem Managing Director, Daniel Vosloo, said the partnering Bullets was a way of reaching out to their customers that love sports.
“We have been sponsoring a number of sports activities but we decided to join Bullets in this initiative because we understand that football has large following and we will bring entertainment to most of our customers,” Vosloo said.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Escort Chinula, praised Energem for the partnership.
“However despite the deal, the door is open to others who are willing to partner us in other areas,” Chinula said.
Chinula further said Energem will also provide a trophy for champions, medals, warm up bibs for the teams and dressing for the ball boys.
Bullets, Be Forward Wanderers, Zimbabwe’s Chicken Inn and UD Songo from Mozambique are expected to take part in the bonanza.
