Newly-crowned Fast5 Netball World Series champions, England, have released a squad for the three-match Vitality Netball International Series against Malawi next month.

Both teams competed in the Fast5 Series which took place over the weekend in Melbourne, Australia, with England handing the Queens their biggest loss (45-15).

Malawi finished the tournament bottom of the table after losing all their six games.

The Roses (England) seem to be taking the games seriously as they have selected their most capped player, Jade Clarke, to lead the team alongside Captain Ama Agbeze.

Two players, who made their debuts at Netball Europe, Vicki Oyesola and Josie Huckle, are also part of the squad.

But Vice-Captain of the Fast5 winning team in Australia, Joanne Harten, is not part of the squad, just like Serena Guthrie, Helen Housby, Gabriella Marshall and Geva Mentor, who all featured in Melbourne.

Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) officials could not be reached to comment on whether Malawi would maintain the squad that went to Australia.

The Queens are expected to continue camp training ahead of the series, but it is not clear if star-shooter Mwawi Kumwenda, who Nam dropped from the trip to Australia, will be recalled.

Copper Box Arena will host the games between England and Malawi on November 24, 26 and 29.
