Enos Chatama faces FMB U-20 test

Local football pundit, Enos Chatama, has a chance to prove his coaching mettle in the ongoing FMB Under-20 Youth Football League.

Chatama stole the limelight when he scored the highest in Caf B Licence Coaching course earlier this year.

Currently, Chatama is coaching Ntopwa Super Boyz in the FMB Under-20 League competing in Blantyre zone.

“I know a coach is judged by results and I will let my results speak for me. Last season, the team finished on ninth position and I was given a task to finish among top-three sides this season. When I took over the team, they had played two games, losing and winning once each,” he said.

Chatama said he was impressed with the team’s progress having won 17 games, drawn thrice and losing once under his tutelage.

“I believe Mtopwa and the FMB Under-20 League have given me the right platform to showcase my coaching skills,” he said.

Ntopwa Super Boys owner, Isaac Osman, said he hired Chatama due to his impressive performance during the Caf B course.

“I felt he needed a team where he could practise what he learnt. I hope the challenge is good for him to prove his prowess,” he said.
