Renowned musician Erik Paliani takes to the stage Saturday `to perform at the Winter by the Fire Jazz Night in Area 47 in Lilongwe.
The show has been organised by Prima Integrated Holdings (PIH), a Malawian company established in 2018 with an initial focus on production of biomass charcoal.
As part of its expansion, PIH has established a Prima Farmers Market, which aims to provide the Malawi market with locally produced fresh produce accessed through home delivery and on credit basis.
A press statement says Prima Farmers Market will officially be launched tomorrow and that as part of celebrating the launch, they have decided to organise the Winter by the Fire Jazz Night in order to give an opportunity to their potential clients to be part of the introduction.
“Considering that our target beneficiaries are of a specific age or economic group, the Winter Jazz Night will give audiences full access to some lovely vibes and unparalled experience for consumers of jazz, good wines and food while experimenting with sound that moves the soul,” reads the statement.
The statement further says that the Winter Jazz Night has been inspired by their zeal to celebrate the launch of the unique Prima Farmers Market – a credit based food market.
The Prima Farmers Market has five major products on the market – fresh vegetable and fruits, poultry products, fish products, all meat products as well as alcoholic and other drinks.
To enjoy the jazz event, people are expected to part with K15,000 for couples and K10,000 single.
