Estiner Katengeza sings on

Gospel singer Estiner Katengeza, who is currently in Japan pursuing further studies is still active with her music game.
Katengeza said despite being pre-occupied with studies, she still finds time to work on music and that she has had times to perform during some events.
Last month Katengeza recorded her first single in Japan titled ‘I’m Right There’. The song was produced by DJ ReddRokk at Everett Mapp.
She said the song will be on the market next month.
“I am happy that I have managed to record a single here. I have been silent but God is faithful such that I have finally managed to work on a single here. I am looking forward to doing more. The single will be distributed in all major international music outlets,” she said.
The creator of the song ‘Zilibwino’ which happens to be the title track of her debut album, said she has also managed to put some of her songs on the international online platforms for people to easily access them.
“People can get songs such as ‘Kwacha’, and enjoy them to the fullest. People have been looking for my songs especially now that I am here. So, I am looking at putting all my albums and singles on platforms such as Spotify, Amazon and iTunes etc. Katengeza said.
The gospel singer has two albums to her credit and they are Zilibwino and Ndamasulidwa.
Meanwhile, Katengeza, said she is set to perform at the annual Malawi –Japan forum whose date will be announced later.
“At the moment the date for the Malawi/Japan forum is not yet known due to Covid-19 fears. But I will be performing there alongside Roy K of the ‘Amupeza’ fame, who is also studying here,” she said.
