Faith goes to Gymkhana

Musician Faith Mussa has been in Zomba City for a long time, pursuing his studies at the then Chancellor College – University of Malawi—but never had a chance of holding a gig at one of the famous hubs in the city – Gymkhana Club.
He recalls that he had a performance way back with his parents starring as Mussa Family but now an opportunity has presented itself to him, who will hold a show at the historical venue.
The ‘Mdidi’ star will perform at Gymkhana Club on November 27, which will also serve as warm-up for the festive season.
“It feels great to go back to Zomba and perform. I spent a lot of my time there during my studies but never had time to perform. I am looking forward to a perfect time,” the singer and guitarist said.
Faith goes to Gymkhana Club barely a week after he performed at Tumaini Festival in Dowa District.
Gymkhana Club Vice Chairperson Lieutenant Colonel Geoffrey Ndekha said this is a special show and that it comes after a long time.
“Faith has a lot to give in terms of music; his music spans a lot of years, having started with Mussa Family and he has huge experience. We can’t wait to have him and this also marks the beginning of more things to come,” Ndekha said.
He called on people to patronise the concert and be part of an exciting show.
