Faith in up-close and personal showdown

Musician Faith Mussa continues his music exploits as he comes face to face with poet Q Malewezi in a show at Villa 33, Namiwawa in Blantyre Saturday.
Dubbed Up-close n Personal, the show will take people on a journey of Faith’s music exploits since his childhood to where he is today.
The artist has walked a long journey in his musical escapades starting off with his parents where they starred as Mussa Family before going solo.
Over the years, the artist has rebranded his musical image leading to him earning several opportunities.
This year has seen him collaborating with South African top gospel musician Benjamin Dube.
He has also had a tour performing in Europe.
Faith said Thursday he was looking forward to the concert which he said will be different all together.
His Blantyre performance comes barely a week after the ‘Mdidi’ star impressed the audience during the 16th edition of the Lake of Stars Festival held at Kachere Kastle in Blantyre last weekend.
“I am ready, it is a show targeting a few people and I am looking forward to a great outing,” Faith said.
He will be sharing the stage with Q Malewezi who recently also launched his book Little Discoveries.
However, the show also takes place on the same weekend as Blantyre experiences the Blantyre Arts Festival (Baf).
Faith’s manager, Samuel Chiwaka, said the event is going to be different.
“It will be a show full of surprises and very intimate, this is the first time we are doing this and it will be a three in one performances,” Chiwaka.
