Musicians Faith Mussa and Patience Namadingo are all talented singers and guitarists. They might have shared the stage in the past during gospel concerts pulling together several gospel musicians where they have never had a chance to give people of full dosage of their music.

But that chance has come up now through the owner of a newly established place in Chitawira, Blantyre known as Chrichi Multipose Gardens, Wales Chakukuma, as the two musicians will on Sunday come face to face in a rare concert that will give them a chance to offer more of their songs to the people.

The two artists have promised nothing but the best during the concert saying people should brace for mature sound having trained for some time.

“We started rehearsals longtime ago and we are happy that the show is now here. This show gives us a chance to show what we can do and again it gives us a chance to try out different styles. This is the way to go, we need to have concerts which gives people what they deserve, and in other shows you don’t have time to perform more songs because you have a big line up. But with this one, the two of us will offer more songs,” said Namadingo creator of the hit ‘Mtendere.’

The youthful artist who has also been entertaining people during shows with his comics, said before their performance, he will have a comedy session to warm up the stage.

“I just thought I should also warm the stage with a comedy session which will not be that long. I know it is cold now but we will also have a coffee bar just to make sure that people enjoy every moment of the concert,” said Namadingo.

He also said that during the concert they will also have time to dish out cover songs originally done by other artists.

Namadingo described Chrichi Multipurpose Gardens as a good place that is unique and called on fellow artists and events organisers to utilise it.

Mussa who has in the past years beein performing with his family group known as Mussa Family before coming out alone said this is a rare concert that people should not afford to miss.

“There is more for people to see, being a show for only two artists, people will see the different styles and I promise people that this will be a show full of energy,” said the artist, who was recently in Norway for concerts alongside Peter Mawanga, Sam Mjura and Mkandawire. Mussa famed for the track ‘Desperate,’ also heaped praise on Chakukuma for organising this rare show.

Chakukuma said through the venue they want to grow the arts in the country and bring out exciting activities.

“This is just the beginning of more things to come, for a start we have Faith Mussa and Patience Namadingo but there will be more of such concerts. By doing such concerts we are giving artists more time to perfect their sets and we are happy to offer Chrichi Multipurpose Gardens to events organisers out there. This is a place which hosts among others corporate functions and weddings,” he said.
