Faith Mussa’s hairstyle attracts mixed reaction

Gospel musician Faith Mussa unveiled a new hairstyle shifting from his afro hair style.
The new hairstyle which has seen him spotting dreadlocks on the top and shaving on the sides, has attracted mixed reactions.
Some people have welcomed the new hairstyle saying it was good for him as a musician while others felt it was not that good for him as a gospel musician.
The ‘Mdidi’ star has been spotting his afro hair style for some time and people got used to it.
“I just did it for a change really. I am tired of cutting my afro. I want some freedom with it. I knew some people will obviously bad mouth me for it but again, you know I can’t please everyone,” he said.
Faith however, said he was loving the comments that people were making on the new hairstyle.
Some artists such as Tay Grin have also changed hairstyles attracting mixed views from fans.
Meanwhile, Faith has said his international tours have been affected by Covid -19 pandemic Faith is one of the artists, who has been flying the country’s flag annually participating in different festivals in Europe.
“My first miss out is this month I was supposed to do tours in United Kingdom and Norway – Bigfoot and Bergen International festivals but they were both postponed until further notice,” he said.
Several festivals in Europe have been postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic with several countries going into lockdown and putting up precautionary measures such as banning of public gatherings.
There has also been a ban on public gatherings in the country of more than 100 which has kept artists out of the stage for close to two months now.
Recently, Lilongwe-based group Madalitso Band, which has also been making international tours representing Malawi, said they would not be performing out this year due to the pandemic.
