Singer and guitarist Faith Mussa will represent the country at United Nations Special Session of the General Assembly (UNGASS) in a virtual youth forum running from May 24 to 26.
The forum is aimed at contributing to UNGASS on measures to strengthen international cooperation.
Faith’s manager Samuel Chiwaka said Tuesday that Faith had been chosen to represent Malawi at UNGASS 2021.
“Faith will perform and make a speech and he has been given 15 minutes,” Chiwaka said.
The ‘Mdidi’ creator said he was happy to represent the country.
“Fair Play has been invited to perform at this UN virtual youth forum, contributing to UNGASS,” he said.
“As you know, I am a past Fair Play music competition winner. Our music work against corruption did not end after the competition. We have been engaging with various stakeholders locally and worldwide to influence positive change,” he added.
Faith said he was ready to give a speech and deliver a music performance based on the material they have developed recently.
