Fam yet to announce Airtel Top 8 venues
After conducting the Airtel Top 8 draw last Wednesday, Football Association of Malawi (Fam) is yet to come up with venues for the quarter-finals.
Fam Competitions Committee is supposed to meet this week to decide on the venues for the games scheduled for the weekend of May 13.
Fam Competitions Manager, Gomezgani Zakazaka, said they would announce the venues soon.
However, Kamuzu Barracks Team Manager, Francis Shaba and his Blue Eagles’ counterpart, Ken Mponda, hoped that Fam will announce the venue soon.
“We have a lot of playing grounds here in Lilongwe. We may plan to use Civo Stadium only to be advised that we will play at another stadium,” Shaba said.
