FCB Nyasa Bullets Reserve get Under-20 keeper on loan

FCB Nyasa Bullets Reserve have signed Malawi Under-20 National Football Team goalkeeper Austin Chirambo from Manchester Motor Spares FC on a year-long loan deal.
Both parties confirmed the development but Bullets were hoping to secure the services of the youngster on a permanent deal.
Manchester Motor Spares Managing Director Christopher Chikopa said they were pleased to loan out the promising goalkeeper.
“We hope this will expose him to more competitive games to aid his career development. He is a promising goalkeeper and it is our hope that he will gain valuable experience,” he said.
Bullets Chief Administration Officer Albert Chigoga said they were optimistic to secure the services of the young goalkeeper on a permanent transfer.
“We have roped in the player on loan to cover the existing gap in our goalkeeping department while we engage Manchester Motors for possible permanent transfer of the player. We will provide remuneration to the player during the loan period,” he said.
The Flames Under-20 shot-stopper signed the contract on April 21 and will expire next year.
Chirambo underwent trials at Zimbabwe’s Premier Soccer League giants Caps United in March.
He starred for the junior Flames during the 2022 Cosafa Cup in eSwatini.
