FDH Bank has reiterated its commitment to advocacy for savings and investment culture among Malawians.
This comes amid concerns of low or lack of desposabble income among most Malawians due to economic hardships coupled with effects of Covid pandemic.
Recently, the bank launched ‘Banki pa khomo’, a promotion aimed at encouraging its existing and potential customers to save.
The bank is awarding K50, 000 to ten people each every month, with one other customer getting K250, 000.
FDH Bank Senior Manager in the Digital Banking Sales Department Yamikani Mbawa said the bank is also working towards bringing the several Malawians into the financial equation.
“We are looking at people living in the outskirts of the cities. Places that have no banking services. If that person wins K50, 000 or K250, 000, they will be helped a lot. The person will be able to make money in an easy way.
The competition will run for four months.
