FDH Bank on Thursday re-launched its Kodokodo Promotion, two months after concluding the initial one.
The promotion is aimed at attracting potential clients to open accounts with the bank and is part of the bank’s contribution towards the national financial inclusion agenda.
The initiative encourages customers to get five of their friends and family to open an Ufulu Digital Account via mobile phone and stand a chance of winning two smartphones in a draw.
The five new customers get K5,000 each.
On Thursday, the bank conducted the first draw of the second phase of the promotion where 10 customers won two Itel A16 smartphones each.
FDH Bank Marketing Manager, Ronald Chimchere, said customers urged the bank to re-introduce the promotion.
“We had this promotion last year, our customers were excited and we thought it wise that we should listen so we started Kodokodo again on February 1 and will run for two months till end March. We have seen growth in numbers and value and we expect more new accounts to be opened,” Chimchere said.
