FDH Bank Senior Manager, Personal and Business Banking Maureen Nalikungwi said the bank had received an overwhelming response which is evidence that Malawians are embracing a savings culture.

“I cannot share with you the actual figures right now but deposits on savings have significantly increased and I would like to encourage other Malawians that have not yet started saving to join the promotion and stand a chance of winning the grand prize of K5 million which we will give out soon,” Nalikungwi said.

The Wamkaka Promotion started in April and is expected to end this month. Every month, lucky customers go away with prizes such as cash, fertilisers, Malawi football team replica jerseys and others.
