Felix Zulu supporters best in October

By Isaac Salima:
Be Forward Wanderers midfielder, Felix Zulu, has scooped the Supporters’ Player of the Month prize for the month of October.
Zulu amassed 1,130 votes to beat four other players shortlisted for the award which is determined by supporters of TNM Super League teams through SMS.
“I am delighted with this award and I owe it to my teammates. I also thank the supporters that voted for me. I will continue working hard,” he said.
About 79,000 fans participated in the competition that had nominees such as Silver Strikers’ Khuda Muyaba, Schumacher Kuwali of Blue Eagles, Mlatho Mponela’s Eric Kaonga and Christopher Mtambo from Savenda Chitipa.
TNM Brand and Communications Manager, Dingaan Ngulube, said the response from the fans was encouraging.
“This comes after last Sunday we flew two winners of the promotion to watch a [Uefa] Champions League match in Spain. We are pleased that supporters are happy with the promotion and they, too, continue winning airtime, cash and other prizes. We anticipate more customers to get involved and send more predictions,” he said.
Meanwhile, Nyasa Big Bullets supporter, Bester Antonio, emerged the winner of the K1.5 Zampira Pokopoko Promotion grand draw.
The Blantyre-based fan predicated correctly that Silver Strikers would beat TN Stars 3-1.
Antonio will receive K1 million and per condition of the competition he will choose a team of his choice to buy sports equipment worth K500,000.
Antonio, an instructor at Chilobwe Technical College, was excited with the development.
“This is good news. I thank TNM for giving us [supporters] a chance to participate in such competition,” he said.
